LaplandUK is set to launch a second location in Manchester in time for Christmas 2025, following the success of their current venue in Berkshire. This new festive experience will be held at Capethrone Hall and will be similar in size and duration to the original venue. Tickets for the Manchester event are expected to go on sale in March, with the experience running for six weeks during the Christmas period. The founders of LaplandUK, Mike and Alison Battle, are excited to bring the magic of LaplandUK to more families and create treasured Christmas memories for all who attend.

The LaplandUK experience takes around 50 days to build and a further 30 days to take down. Upon arrival, children receive an ‘Elf Passport’ before embarking on a 90-minute show that includes visits to the toy factory and Mother Christmas’ kitchen, culminating in a meet-and-greet with Father Christmas. The tickets also include free gifts, ice skating, sweet shops, and a post office. The attention to detail at LaplandUK, such as miniature doorways for “small folk” and custom greetings from the elves, sets it apart and has drawn rave reviews from visitors.

Celebrities such as David Tennant, Stacey Solomon, and Tom Hardy have visited LaplandUK in previous years, attesting to its popularity and appeal. The experience has been likened to a Disney standard, with visitors impressed by the immersive and magical atmosphere created at the venue. LaplandUK aims to provide a unique and memorable Christmas experience for families, bringing the enchantment of Lapland to a wider audience. The expansion to a second location in Manchester reflects the founders’ commitment to sharing the magic of LaplandUK with as many families as possible.

More than 300,000 people attempted to book tickets for LaplandUK this year, with the event selling out in a record four hours. The overwhelming response to the festive experience in Berkshire has prompted the launch of a new site in Manchester, allowing even more families to participate in the magical journey. LaplandUK is known for its attention to detail, from the costumes worn by the elves to the customized greetings for children. The new location at Capethrone Hall promises to deliver a similar enchanting experience for visitors, with tickets expected to go on sale in March next year.
