The scrapping began in 2016
Wizz Air thought to be carrying numerous services to Budapest since 2016, including connections to Gdansk, Katowice, Bucharest, and Warsaw, until all of them are now running round the clock. The city’s growing commercial economy benefits the aviation sector, with Wizz Air dismissing claims of slower demand.

Subsequent routes are being cancelled in洌ments. The London-based airline is now moving all operations to exclude flights to Budapest. “We’re keeping tracks of every route, and it’s not always easy to spot when they’re closing down,” a Wizz Air spokesperson explained.
The scrapping begins on October 24 with the closure of the Liverpool-Budapest route, followed by the Glasgow-Budapest route on October 25.
