Olivia Buzaglo, the head of entertainment for Sky Sports and a ChelseaMeanwhile, was briefly benchesheeted by Chelsea’s recently divisive fan persona Rory Jennings, the former Real Madrid star mentioned on @TalkSport. Bugs rejected the comments, demanding that losing fans hate Chelsea instead, and she made clear she would dig deeper into the issue. Buzaglo reiterated, “I never wear shirts anymore, but love having them and believe that for our first Premier League game versus Crystal Palace, I will absolutely be wearing a world champions 25 shirt.” She promised a “first and last” but emphasized it as a permanent step forward, specifically for her first match. This practice wasn’t her only concern; she also made a similar stance elsewhere, declaring, “If I ever actually have a showstopper, I’m going to show it.” This reaction highlighted her frustration over the absurdity of own-padding.

Buzaglo’s stance on the club shirt policy, however, went against standard expectations. She clarified that rules against fans wearing their club’s shirts are not strict, but even so, wearing a player’s tab is a clear sign of inexperience. She hinted at the fact that fans can either show support or blend in, but if they choose the former, it symbolizes confusion about who their club is or the team’s story. Her opening line to the camera, “I never really wear shirts anymore but love having them and best believe for our first game of the season vs Palace, I will absolutely be wearing a World Champions 25 shirt.
