The UK Food Standards Agency (FSA) has recently issued urgent recalls for two of its largest brands, Birds Eye and Tesco. Both issues stem from allergens that pose health risks in the products. Starting with Birds Eye Ltd’s popular “Goodfella’s Stonebaked Thin Garlic Bread,” the recall has been brought to light due to a packaging issue. “The garlic bread contains milk, which was not mentioned on the label,” according to the FSA, putting those with dairy allergies at risk. The affected batch has been identified as batch code 5020, and it is best before February 2026.
As part of their response, the FSA has requested customers to return the affected packaging if they hold ahold of this delicious treat.
