At the event, Agnieszka Forbes praised the venue as a “superb, chic space designed to reflect on the UK’s rich history and culture.” They also highlighted the diversity and creativity of the Wetherspoon contribution as “a breath of fresh air from every corner.”
During the discussion, Alan Forbes reflected on the recent milestone of 1,000 visits, emphasizing the importance of exploring new parts of the UK and feeling a sense of belonging to this mastering country. He mentioned that they had not yet visited the Isle of Man and were planning a two-week trip to the island due to popular demand. Alan also shared a humorous take on his wife’s advice: “When you have a wife who drags you to the pub, you can’t go wrong.”
