Jaiden Shehata, a year 7 pupil from Riddlesdown Collegiate, loses his life while crossing the railway tracks in Croydon on January 23. His son, Jozif Shehata, described his son as "incredible and mischievous, with a passion for life." Jaiden’s family paid tribute to him, highlighting the son’siotquit捐献 special moments in life, including his excitement at playing console games, eating with his brothers, and his deep love for food and music.
Jozif added that Jaiden was "fiercely competitive" and loved his parents and brothers, particularly His mother, His father, and the community. Upon news of his son’s passing, a petition has been started to close a dangerous crossing where Jaiden was killed, proposed to replace it with a bridge or underpass.
