Toy manufacturer Mattel is set to open its first theme park in America in Glendale, Arizona in 2025, with an estimated cost of $260 million. The park, called Mattel Adventure Park, will feature 25 attractions, including a Barbie-themed land with a Barbie Beach House. The Barbie Beach House will offer an interactive retail experience where visitors can build their own Barbie set and enjoy state-of-the-art hologram technology to curate the ultimate wardrobe. Additionally, the park will feature the Barbie flying theatre, Barbie Rooftop, Hot Wheels rollercoaster, Thomas & Friends indoor theme park, a He-Man v Skeletor Laser Tag arena, and many other immersive experiences. Guests can also enjoy signature pink beverages and sweet and savoury snacks at the Barbie Rooftop while taking in panoramic views of the property.

The Mattel Adventure Park in Glendale is not the only new theme park being planned in America. Another theme park is set to open in Kansas City in 2026, at an estimated cost of $487 million. Additionally, a $2 billion resort, the American Heartland Theme Park, is slated to open in 2025 off the west of Grand Lake on Route 66. Other new theme parks set to open soon include Universal’s Epic Universe in Florida in May 2023, and the Land of Legends theme park in Qatar in 2028. Bommelwereld, a new indoor theme park in the Netherlands, is also set to open next year. These new theme parks promise a variety of themed worlds and attractions, offering visitors endless entertainment options.
