Eminem and Ice Spice also performed during the event, with Ice Spice inviting players to follow her across neon-lit rooftops. The highlight of the event was a tribute to Juice WRLD, with a world premiere of a previously unreleased track, “Empty Out Your Pockets”, and a performance of Juice WRLD’s hit song “Lucid Dreams”. Players also had the opportunity to watch the official music video for “Empty Out Your Pockets” before returning to the game’s lobby.
This tribute to Juice WRLD marks the first time Fortnite has honored a celebrity who has passed away. Chapter 6 of Fortnite is set to kick off on December 1, 2024, with Season 1: Hunters bringing a Japanese theme to the game.
