Katie Price, the 46-year-old former glamour model and reality TV star, has once again found herself in trouble over parking violations. While arriving for a pantomime performance of Cinderella in Northwich, Cheshire, where she played the wicked stepmother, Price parked her Nissan Qashqai directly on the pavement outside the venue. Photographs clearly show the vehicle obstructing the pedestrian walkway, a violation that attracted the attention of a parking attendant. The attendant documented the infraction by taking pictures of the improperly parked car and issued a Penalty Charge Notice, which was placed prominently on the vehicle’s windscreen. This latest incident follows a previous controversy involving Price’s use of a disabled parking badge.

Price’s attire for the pantomime performance consisted of a pink fluffy coat layered over oversized loungewear. Underneath, she sported a designer monochrome Miss Dior jumper and matching tracksuit bottoms, accessorized with a black Prada bag and Ugg slippers. Despite the rain, she attempted to shield her face with the hood of her coat as she entered the venue, phone in hand. However, her efforts to remain inconspicuous were thwarted by the parking violation, which quickly became evident.

This is not the first time Price has faced scrutiny for her parking practices. Just days before this incident, she was seen displaying a blue disabled badge in her car window, despite the apparent absence of her son Harvey, for whom the badge is issued. This sparked concerns of misuse, a serious offense that carries a potential fine of £1,000 and confiscation of the badge. According to the UK government website, it is illegal for anyone other than the badge holder to utilize the parking concessions afforded by the scheme. Furthermore, parking in a manner that obstructs pedestrians or other road users, such as on a pavement unless specifically permitted by signage, is also prohibited.

Price’s financial woes have been well-documented. Once boasting an estimated fortune of £45 million at the height of her career, thanks to modeling, book deals, and television appearances, she has since faced bankruptcy twice. The first instance occurred in 2019 due to unpaid debts exceeding £3 million. Price has attributed her financial difficulties to various factors, including the financial demands of her ex-husbands and legal fees. She has also cited a period of depression during which she struggled to manage her affairs.

More recently, in March of this year, Price declared bankruptcy for a second time over an unpaid tax bill of over £761,000. She failed to appear in court to provide evidence regarding her finances, opting instead to vacation in Cyprus. Adding to her troubles, her former residence, dubbed the “Mucky Mansion,” fell into disrepair after being burgled, flooded, and impacted by sewage issues. She eventually vacated the property and is currently renting a four-bedroom mansion in Sussex.

The parking ticket issued in Northwich adds another layer of complexity to Price’s ongoing challenges. The specific amount of the fine has not been disclosed, but it represents an additional financial burden for the struggling star. Moreover, the repeated parking violations, particularly the potential misuse of the disabled badge, raise ethical concerns and invite public scrutiny. Price’s representatives have been contacted for comment on these latest developments, but no statement has yet been released. The accumulation of these incidents paints a picture of a celebrity navigating both financial difficulties and a series of public missteps.
