LEIGH-Anne Pinnock has revealed her pride after her Little Mix bandmate Perrie Edwards gave birth to her first child with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The singer, who is due to have a baby as well, took to social media to congratulate the 28-year-old as she shared her news today.
Leigh-Anne wrote: “I am so proud of you and I love you so much 🥺 what an angel ❤️❤️😍😍.”
Perrie announced she was pregnant just days after Leigh-Anne confirmed she and footballer boyfriend Andre Gray are expecting.
Perrie previously revealed the pregnancy bombshells came in a meeting plotting the group’s future- and the girls hadn’t planned to have kids at the same time.
She said: “We were on a work Zoom and we were chatting about things that were coming up in our schedule because in Little Mix we are blocked out two years in advance.
“I was thinking, ‘I won’t be able to do that’.
“I messaged my manager and she called me and said, ‘You’re pregnant’.”
“Then she said: ‘Can I add someone to the call?’
“I just heard this voice that said: ‘Perrie! You too!’ And then we just cried our eyes out. What timing!”
Perrie revealed she had given birth today alongside a series of adorable black and white snaps, showing their child’s tiny feet and hands.
She wrote: “Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21 ♥️”
Her footballer boyfriend added his own pictures and shared: “Welcome to the world little one 😍❤️ 21/08/21.”
Fans were alerted to the fact she was in labour on Saturday, when midfielder Alex , 28, didn’t play for Liverpool, citing “personal reasons”.
